Nashville’s Midtown skyline is about to add another tower. Albion Music Row, the first of two high-rises Chicago-based Albion Residential is building at the former Beaman dealership site, is topping toward a Fall 2026 opening, with Clark Construction leading the work.
Project Scope
The first tower rises 29 stories and 350 feet, delivering 458 apartments across five assembled lots at the southwest corner of McGavock Street and 14th Avenue. The two-acre site sits at 1501 McGavock Street, on the edge of the Music Row and Gulch districts. Clark Construction has carried the concrete-frame building from a 2024 start to near-completion, and Albion says the first units will deliver ahead of its original schedule. Ground-floor restaurants and retail round out the base.
Why It Matters
Multifamily has been one of the few bright spots in a soft construction year, and Nashville keeps drawing the capital to prove it. A 458-unit tower going vertical in Midtown, next to Music Row, reflects continued confidence in the city’s renter demand even as national housing starts stay choppy. The location matters as much as the count: dense, transit-adjacent rental near jobs and nightlife is exactly the product that keeps leasing in a market absorbing thousands of new units a year. With a second tower planned, Albion is treating the Beaman site as a two-phase play on Nashville’s long-run growth rather than a single building.
