The Kansas City Chiefs are building a new home. The team named Kansas City-based Burns & McDonnell as owner’s representative for a $300 million headquarters and practice facility in Olathe, Kansas, on a site of roughly 155 acres near College Boulevard and Ridgeview Road.
Project Scope
Burns & McDonnell will work alongside CAA ICON to coordinate architects, engineers, contractors and planners through design and construction. The campus will house the franchise’s offices and year-round training operations, and it’s scheduled to open before the 2031 season. Design and construction announcements are expected in the coming weeks. The facility is one piece of a larger relocation: the Chiefs are moving across the state line from Missouri to Kansas, anchored by a roughly $3 billion new stadium.
