Season's View Window & Door Inc.

Choosing the right windows starts with a plan that fits the home’s age, framing, and local weather. A window installation service should consider opening sizes, flashing details, and insulation so new units seal well and operate smoothly. For new builds and additions, many homeowners look at New Construction Windows to match architectural style and meet energy code needs from the start. Season’s View Window & Door Inc. helps residents compare frame materials, glass options, and screen systems so different rooms get the airflow and light they need. Families often compare styles such as Double-Hung Windows for easy cleaning and adjustable ventilation in bedrooms and hallways. In kitchens or living areas, clear sightlines and sunlight may take priority. Proper measuring, ordering lead times, and coordination with other trades keep schedules on track, especially when coordinating trim or siding work. Homes in Watertown, MN and nearby Delano benefit from weather‑appropriate choices that handle temperature swings, limit drafts, and reduce outside noise over time.

The shop has been working out of Watertown since 1995. Brandon Stein took ownership roughly four and a half years ago, and the business is still locally owned and run.

One thing worth knowing before you shop: Season’s View carries five separate window and door lines rather than representing a single manufacturer. Andersen, Marvin, Heritage Millwork, North Star Windows & Doors and Gerkin Windows & Doors are all available through the same conversation. On a replacement job, budget, frame material and lead time tend to pull against each other, and having five catalogs on the table is what makes that trade-off negotiable.

Replacements here are full-frame rather than glass-only. The old frame comes out along with the sash, the opening gets reworked back to bare framing, the new unit is set level, insulation is packed the full way around it, every gap is sealed, and the exterior is finished in fiberglass trim. The company points to Minnesota building and energy code as the standard the finished opening has to satisfy, which is the practical reason the frame comes out instead of staying put.

New-construction work runs differently. Units are sized and laid out for the particular build rather than selected from stock dimensions, so the window schedule gets settled alongside the framing plan instead of after it.

Entry doors are offered in fiberglass, steel or wood, with the finish and hardware picked per house. Siding sits alongside both trades, in vinyl, steel, Hardie board or LP SmartSide. That combination matters more than it sounds: pulling a window frame out often exposes rot or failed flashing in the wall behind it, and having the siding crew in the same company shortens the gap between finding that and fixing it.

Coverage runs across roughly twenty towns west and southwest of the Twin Cities, well past the immediate lake country. The list includes Chaska, St. Michael, Buffalo, Hutchinson, Waconia, Victoria, Mound, Albertville, Delano, Carver, Rockford, Watertown, Montrose, Norwood Young America, Hanover, Cokato, Mayer, Howard Lake, Maple Plain and Spring Park.

Estimates are free, financing is available on projects, and every installed window carries warranty coverage. The office keeps regular trade hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed weekends, so scheduling a measure visit generally means a weekday.
