Factory-direct, which changes the buying process

Auroral Portes et Fenetres manufactures the windows and doors it installs, and sells them direct from the plant — portes et fenetres sur mesure directement de l’usine, in the company’s own words. For a Laval homeowner that removes a layer: the company that measures the opening is the company that builds the unit, so a non-standard size or a particular finish is a production instruction rather than a special order placed with a third party.

The product range

Windows are offered across PVC, hybrid and aluminium finishes, in hung, awning, tilt-and-turn, transom, arched, architectural and sliding configurations. Doors cover steel and aluminium entry doors plus patio doors, including aluminium patio doors. A third line covers railing systems, including glass railings. The company runs design, fabrication and installation as three named stages of the same process.

Built for the trade as well as the homeowner

Auroral maintains a separate channel for professionals — architects and designers, general contractors, and developers — with technical documents published for specification work. That is a meaningful distinction in Quebec, where a window package on a multi-unit project is specified long before a homeowner would be choosing one, and where performance and certification data has to be on file for the building permit.

Materials, performance, certifications

The company organises its own quality claims under three headings: materials, performance and certifications, and holds RBQ licence 8002-2155-29. Because a licence number is recorded on this listing, it is held for human verification before the detail is treated as confirmed.

Note on language and coverage

The company’s site is in French and serves the Laval and greater Montreal market from its plant; it does not publish a fixed list of towns served, so no service area has been recorded here rather than one being inferred. Project galleries, including the Chambord project, show completed installations.
