Fiberon

Fiberon is a composite decking, railing and cladding manufacturer headquartered in New London, North Carolina. Founded in 1997, it makes wood-alternative boards primarily from recycled materials and says it recovers 98.5% of its manufacturing waste, keeping more than 70,000 tons of plastic and wood a year out of landfills. Its lines include ArmorGuard, Good Life, Sanctuary, Concordia, Paramount, Promenade and Novus decking. Plants in North Carolina and Meridian, Idaho, total about 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Fiberon operates as Fiber Composites LLC within Fortune Brands Innovations, which agreed in October 2026 to sell the business to Inteplast Group. Neither side disclosed a price. Closing is expected within 60 days, after which Fiberon is slated to join Inteplast’s World-Pak division and Inteplast Building Products unit.

The decking range is organised as named lines rather than tiers, which matters when a specification calls out a product by name. Paramount, Sanctuary, Good Life, Promenade and Concordia sit alongside ArmorGuard Designers Choice and ArmorGuard Pro, the fire-resistant option in the range.

Railing is a parallel set of four lines: CitySide, CountrySide, Brio and ArmorGuard. Lighting is sold to match, with post caps, side lights, downward lights and flush deck lights with trim rings running off a 50-watt power supply.

Three specification tools sit on the site ahead of the catalogue. A deck cost calculator gives a budget figure, a Deck Designer builds the layout, and a Discovery AR app and product visualiser put a chosen board colour and pattern onto a real deck before any sample is ordered. Samples can be ordered directly, and separate locators find the nearest dealer and the nearest certified installer.

The site also runs a Pro Center and an Ascendant login for trade accounts, and publishes comparison material: composite lines against each other, wood against composite, and an explainer on what PVC decking is and how composite boards are made.

Fiberon was founded in 1997 and the site is published in fourteen languages, including European and Latin American variants, which is a reasonable indicator of where the product is distributed beyond North America.
