Cantherm Distributors

Cantherm Distributors became Biemmedue’s (BM2) first North American distributor for their Arcotherm line of portable heaters. Arcotherm Heaters, manufactured in Italy by Biemmedue (BM2), are distributed in Canada and the United States by Cantherm Distributors. The portable heaters are professional-grade to keep you working regardless of the weather. These exceptional heaters are available in indirect-fired, radiant, and electric formats.

The company started life in 1993 as Canadian Thermal Dynamics and now trades as Cantherm Distributors from 1 Beghin Avenue in Winnipeg.

Heating is the anchor but not the whole catalogue. Arcotherm units run across five series with outputs from 112,000 to 1,000,000 BTU, firing on diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, propane, natural gas or electricity, in indirect-fired, radiant and electric formats. All units distributed in Canada and the USA are UL and CSA approved, and the manufacturing runs to ISO 9001 procedures. Accessories cover adapters, ducting, thermostats and external fuel tank kits.

Around that sit several other equipment lines: Yanmar portable diesel generators and water pumps, Tecnogen mobile generators, Portacool and Vector Climate evaporative cooling, MovinCool and OceanAire air conditioning, Western Global commercial fuel tanks, Njordair inflatable work tents, ventilation blowers, Century wire and cable, and on-site safety equipment and PPE. Aviation ground support is its own category, covering ground power units, helicopter carriers and carts, and protective covers for aircraft and military vehicles.

The support side is where a distributor either helps or does not. Cantherm keeps a warehouse stocked with finished units, components and spare parts, and states orders ship within 24 hours of receipt. Technical service comes either through a local dealer or remotely from Winnipeg. The site publishes instruction manuals, service manuals, parts diagrams and troubleshooting guides, plus BTU and cooling calculators for sizing.

Heaters carry a three-year limited warranty and financing is available. Coverage runs across Canada and the United States, with regional pages for North Dakota, South Dakota and the Northwest Territories, serving industries from agriculture and aviation through construction, drilling, forestry, mining, oil and gas, spray-foaming and restoration.

Cantherm is also the Canadian distributor for Vector Climate patented mobile evaporative cooling. Contact runs through 204-688-9245 or 800-661-9276.
