We are just a call away. All of our stones are ethically sourced, highly durable, and made to handle the Australian weather perfectly.

The supply chain behind the pricing is worth understanding. Stone Planet started in 1993 with two people and now has more than 80 staff across quarries, factories, warehouses and showrooms in several countries. It owns and operates its own factories in Turkey, India and Egypt, where cutting, calibration, finishing, grading and packing are done in-house. Turkey supplies most of the travertine plus marble and limestone; India covers granite, sandstone, slate, cobblestone and walling formats; Egypt supplies limestone and marble.

The company is equally direct about what it does not own. It holds no quarries, buying raw material from independent quarry partners it has worked with in some cases for decades. It also declines to claim third-party accreditation, chain-of-custody certification or carbon neutrality, stating it does not hold them.

Batch data is recorded at its own factories, which is the practical reason a customer extending a patio three years later can often be matched back to the same production run rather than a near-enough replacement.

On grading, the site makes a point most suppliers avoid: premium is a commercial label, not an accredited standard. It is judged on hole count and size, quantity of filler, cut precision, thickness consistency and colour spread, and the grades are not comparable between suppliers. Both premium and standard grades are stocked.

Sourcing rules are stated rather than implied. Stone Planet does not sell river pebbles, citing habitat damage and erosion from river extraction, and buys only from quarries using recycled water for cutting and cleaning, with dust suppression and land restoration plans in place.
