Waterproofing sits at the front of most MBI Balkaya jobs, and the business quotes it as its own service rather than folding it into a tiling price. Victorian building regulations require wet areas to be waterproofed before any tile is laid, so bathrooms, laundries and kitchens are sealed first. The company’s argument for treating it seriously is structural rather than cosmetic: water that gets past a failed membrane reaches the framing and slab, where the repair bill has nothing to do with tiles.

The tiling side spans wall and floor installation, kitchen and bathroom areas, outdoor floors and swimming pools, across residential, commercial and industrial sites. Bathroom renovation is offered as a complete package covering apartment bathrooms, compact bathrooms and full rebuilds, and runs as a three-step sequence the business describes as agreeing the idea, carrying out the build, then a final check with the client before the job is signed off. New construction and renovation work are both handled, and the team positions itself on turnaround speed as much as finish quality.

Pool tiling is worth separating out, because it combines the two disciplines the firm sells: membrane work that has to hold under a constant water load, and tile setting across curved and stepped surfaces. The same pairing applies to outdoor floors, where drainage falls and adhesive selection matter more than pattern. For commercial and industrial clients the emphasis shifts toward programme, and the business markets fast turnaround and holding a fixed completion date as heavily as it markets finish quality.

Commercially, quotes for tiling and waterproofing are free, and the company states it will beat a competing quote on the same scope of work. It describes itself as fully insured and licensed. The base is 74 Darmain Drive, Greenvale VIC 3059, open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, with Veysal the direct contact on 0478 073 145. Melbourne and its surrounding suburbs are the working core, though the areas-served page also lists Sydney, Queensland, Perth, Adelaide and Tasmania as regions covered, so larger jobs outside Victoria are worth an enquiry rather than an assumption.
