Michael started D & M Tree Service in 2011, and it is still family-owned and operated. Published reviews describe him coming out personally to look at a job and price it before the crew arrives, which is a reasonable expectation to set for a business this size.

Coverage extends well past Royse City: Sachse, Garland, Rockwall, Forney, Farmersville, Greenville, Terrell, Wylie, Mesquite and Quinlan, for residential and commercial properties alike.

Beyond the trimming and removal work, the company carries services that smaller outfits usually subcontract or skip — stump grinding, mulch installation, land clearing and lawn maintenance, so a cleared lot can be finished rather than handed off.

Cleanup is a stated commitment rather than an afterthought. Reviewers describe crews chipping brush and, in one case, cutting a downed oak into firewood on the same visit. Another job removed a fallen oak from a neighbour’s yard, mostly inside a single day. A third covered planting two 45-gallon trees, clearing bushes and grinding out an old stump in one visit, which gives a fair idea of what a combined-scope call looks like.

The company frames its approach around education and transparency, walking customers through each step, and works as a licensed and insured team.

Tree care runs year-round, though the site notes a seasonal push on removals through September, clearing dead trees before the weather turns and tidying up curb appeal.
