Patrol Guard Security Services

Patrol Guard Security Services (PGSS) is a Colorado-based private security company providing professional armed and unarmed security services to businesses, government facilities, commercial properties, retail locations, construction sites, schools, warehouses, events, and other organizations throughout the Denver metro area and surrounding Colorado communities.

For a general contractor or developer, the relevant line here is industrial and infrastructure security. PGSS lists it separately from its commercial and retail work and describes it as covering construction sites, warehouses and critical facilities, with guards maintaining a visible presence and monitoring activity to deter theft and unauthorised access. Material theft and after-hours trespass are the two failure modes that line is built around.

The wider service list runs to ten named verticals: armed security guards, banking and financial institutions, commercial property, event security, employee violence prevention, film and television production security, jewelry and watch stores, patrol services, school and campus security, and warehouse and distribution center security. Executive protection is offered as a separate discreet, low-profile service for business professionals and high-profile clients. Armed church security is listed as its own category.

Contract structure is flexible in both directions. The company takes short-term event coverage and long-term contract security, armed or unarmed, and says it scopes each engagement to the specific risks and operating pattern of the site rather than to a standard post order.

Staffing is where the company draws its distinction. It states that officers come from law enforcement, military and private security backgrounds, are individually selected and vetted, and are trained in de-escalation, situational awareness and firearms safety where armed coverage applies. Its stated values are integrity, professionalism, accountability, vigilance, respect, training and commitment.
