ABOUT THE MARSH FAMILY
Ridgeline Construction HSV, Inc. is owned and operated by Terry and Lauren Marsh. Terry had an extensive background as a residential home building superintendent prior to founding Ridgeline Construction. He worked for builders in Florida and Alabama during his time in this position.
Lauren left her career as a homemaker and dance teacher to see the vision through and is now the president of the company. Because she also had worked for a local homebuilder, it was a field she was eager to enter again. Since partnering with her husband, Lauren has acquired an Alabama Homebuilders License, Alabama General Contractors License and Florida Certified Roofing Contractors License, and is currently pursuing licensing in Mississippi as well. Under her leadership, Ridgeline is now a certified Minority Woman-owned business.
Terry and Lauren enjoy being members of Athens First United Methodist Church, where Lauren serves as Sunday School teacher. They also enjoy spending time with family, hunting, fishing and boating. They currently live in the Athens area with their three children, Lili-Grace, Weston and Truett.

The service map splits into North Alabama (Athens, Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Hartselle, Harvest, Hazel Green, Meridianville, Priceville, Guntersville, Florence and Muscle Shoals), Gulf Coast Alabama (Mobile, Daphne, Fairhope, Spanish Fort, Gulf Shores, Loxley, Semmes, Satsuma, Citronelle, Grand Bay and Centre), and the Florida Panhandle from Pensacola east through Pace, Milton, Navarre, Gulf Breeze, Crestview, Niceville and Destin.

Ridgeline is GAF Master Elite and a member of GAF’s President’s Club, along with CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster – designations the company notes are held by fewer than two percent of roofing contractors nationally. The practical result is the GAF Golden Pledge warranty, transferable and running up to 50 years with 25-year workmanship coverage on qualifying systems.
Storm resilience is treated as its own product line. Ridgeline is a certified IBHS FORTIFIED installer, building roofs to a wind and impact standard that many insurance carriers reward with premium discounts, and the company handles applications for Alabama’s Strengthen Alabama Homes program, which offers matching grants toward stronger roofs. It also pulls the required permits from the Limestone County Building Department on Athens-area replacements.
Beyond roof replacement, the trade list covers roof repair with free leak diagnosis, metal roofing, commercial TPO, EPDM and metal systems with full bonding, James Hardie fiber cement and LP SmartSide engineered wood siding, and seamless 5-inch and 6-inch K-style gutters in aluminum or copper, cut on site so there are no field seams.
