Cody Ebbers founded Hunter Rain Gutters in 2019, and the company has run as a locally owned operation out of Boise ever since. The crew works primarily on residential construction, and the company reports completing more than 1,000 projects across the Northwest.

The centerpiece of the installation side is what the company calls its Lifetime Gutter. It is formed as a continuous seamless run, so there are fewer joints that can open up and leak, and it is built from heavy-duty aluminum, steel, or copper depending on the property. Guards or covers can be added during the same visit. Fascia and soffit installation and downspout work are handled in-house as well, which matters on older Treasure Valley homes where the gutter channel is only half the problem.

Gutter guards are unusually well developed here rather than a single upsell item. Hunter installs LeafBlaster Pro, Leaf Relief, micro-mesh screens, bottle brush inserts, foam inserts, perforated metal panels, and reverse-curve covers, which is seven distinct approaches suited to different debris loads and roof pitches. The repair catalog is broken out with the same granularity: clogged gutter and drainage correction, leak repair, soffit and fascia repair, bird and bee nest removal, gutter snow removal, and separate lines for storm, hail, and windstorm damage.

Cleaning goes beyond scooping debris. The company offers gutter flushing, soft washing, power washing, and gutter brightening, which restores the finish on oxidized aluminum instead of merely clearing the channel. There is a commercial cleaning line for property managers and a published gutter cleaning cost calculator on the site for homeowners pricing the work.

Coverage extends well past Boise proper. The published service area includes Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, Middleton, Garden City, and Melba in the valley, then runs north into Horseshoe Bend, Garden Valley, Idaho City, Cascade, Donnelly, Lake Fork, and McCall. It stretches west to Parma, Wilder, Payette, and New Plymouth, crosses the Oregon line to Ontario and Nyssa, and reaches southeast to Mountain Home.

Two commitments matter for anyone comparing bids. Estimates are free, and installations carry a lifetime warranty alongside a five-year warranty against material defects. The company also runs an annual gutter cleaning maintenance program, which puts guard systems and downspouts on a schedule rather than waiting for the next overflow to force the issue.
