Exterior Solutions Group is a commercial roofing contractor in Edmond, Oklahoma, with a second office in Tulsa. It handles roof replacement, restoration and coatings, maintenance plans and hail and storm response, and it pitches long-term roof planning to building owners. Customers include school districts, colleges and commercial property owners. The company is certified by manufacturers such as Carlisle, Johns Manville, Sika Sarnafil, Soprema, Tremco and FiberTite, and it reports more than 500 completed projects. Founder Kyle Crawford is a fourth-generation roofer with over 30 years in the trade. On Oct. 19, 2026, ESG became the first partner company in Roof Restoration Group, a new commercial roofing platform backed by private equity firm Banner Capital. Crawford stays on as CEO.
Storm response here is sorted into three speeds, which is unusual enough to be worth spelling out. Disaster Response puts crews on site as soon as physically possible. Emergency Response is a 24-hour commitment. Rapid Response is 48 hours. The immediate work is blue tarp service and temporary repairs — stopping water getting in while the permanent scope is figured out.
What happens next is where ESG differs from most roofing contractors. It maintains a network of licensed, certified public adjusters who advocate for the building owner, alongside forensic teams and meteorologists who document the hail size and wind speed recorded at that specific property rather than the county. Legal counsel is available through the same network. For a commercial owner facing a disputed claim, that is the substance of the offer.
The family behind it has been in roofing for generations. Kyle Crawford, founder and chief executive, is a fourth-generation roofing business owner who started on a crew at his father’s Oklahoma company and has more than 30 years in the trade. Julie Crawford recently purchased ESG and serves as chief executive, bringing project management experience from a Little Rock contractor and key account management from a multi-state concrete company. Dayton Crawford, a University of Central Oklahoma finance graduate, runs accounting and the maintenance program, and Tyler Crawford moved from maintenance manager into Oklahoma sales.
One non-family hire explains a whole market segment. Gary Lundy, director of business resources, joined in 2017 after a career as a school superintendent, principal, teacher and coach, plus more than 25 years as an Army and Army Reserves master sergeant. The company credits that background directly for its school work.
Systems serviced cover the commercial range: modified bitumen, single ply in TPO, EPDM and PVC, built-up, liquid-applied and metal. ESG presents the Tremco single-ply system as ENERGY STAR-qualified and fire resistant, and FiberTite as well suited to food manufacturing environments where chemical and grease exposure is a factor.
The maintenance program runs annual or bi-annual inspections, with the practical point being that most manufacturer warranties recommend or require annual maintenance to stay valid. Customers follow jobs through a Service Dispatch Command Center that shows dispatch, estimated arrival, work in progress, resolution and completion, with real-time action records and generated reports.
The portfolio includes the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, described as a LEED EB Platinum green roof, plus the Aspen Square Hotel and Clock Tower. The company cites more than 500 completed projects and over 100 years of combined team experience.
Two offices cover the state: Edmond on NW 164th Street and Tulsa on South Yale Avenue, with a toll-free 833-ESG-ROOF line, open weekdays nine to five.
