Eugene Mold Pros

Eugene Mold Pros is a locally owned mold inspection and remediation company with 10+ years of experience in Lane County. We handle mold testing, black mold removal, crawl space and attic remediation, and commercial jobs across Eugene and Springfield. Licensed and insured. Free inspections, honest answers, no surprises.

Eugene takes more than 46 inches of rain a year, most of it between September and April, and Eugene Mold Pros builds its case for year-round work on that number rather than on seasonal alarm. The company opened in 2016, started by an operator who had been doing general restoration work across the Willamette Valley first.

The geography shows up in the job mix. Older housing around Whiteaker, Friendly and Jefferson Westside tends to produce damp crawl spaces. Newer construction in Santa Clara and Cal Young produces a different failure entirely: bath fans terminated into the attic instead of through the roof. Homes under heavier tree cover toward the South Hills and Spencer Butte keep a wet roof plane longer into the spring.

Inspections use thermal imaging, moisture meters and air sampling. Remediation runs containment under negative air pressure with HEPA scrubbers, HEPA vacuuming of structural surfaces, then an EPA-registered antimicrobial. Drying alone takes 24 to 72 hours, which is why the company quotes one to two days for a small job and four to seven for multi-room, attic or crawl space work.

Prices are published rather than held back until a site visit: roughly $500 to $1,200 for a small bathroom ceiling, $2,500 to $6,000 for a full crawl space remediation with vapor barrier replacement. The company is equally direct about insurance. A burst pipe or a storm-driven roof leak is usually covered; a slow leak or general humidity usually is not. It works with adjusters directly and can issue a certificate of insurance the same day.

Technicians are IICRC certified. The work carries a written warranty, and the company returns at no charge if growth comes back without a new water event. Rebuild work is handed off to the homeowner’s own contractor with photographs and notes.
