Emily’s Interiors exists because of a problem its founder kept running into from the other side of the table. Joseph Kupstas spent more than thirty years in design/build remodeling and found the recurring obstacle was not construction – it was helping homeowners make sound design decisions and then actually sourcing the products and materials. His daughter Emily, who loves colour and design and wants to make selections on remodels one day, is where the name came from.

The result is a kitchen and bath showroom that sells and installs rather than only advising: cabinetry, hardware, flooring and appliances, with 3D design and sales under the same roof. Customers can arrive with an idea, a 2D sketch or a finished design. If it is a sketch, the team turns it into a life-like 3D rendering, and permit-ready plans are available. If the design already exists, the company will price and deliver the cabinets, flooring and appliances against it.

Two things distinguish the staff. They have construction experience as well as design training, which is why the practical questions get answered early. And the showroom is physical – a place to look at and handle materials before committing, which reviewers describe as quaint but full of ideas.

The company also works with independent interior designers, absorbing the time-consuming sourcing and specification work so the designer can stay on design.

Projects run at all sizes. The Shrewsbury showroom is open Monday to Wednesday and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, Thursday until 6:30pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.
