The firm is developing The Van Zandt on Fort Worth’s West 7th corridor, a mixed-use building that pairs Class AA office space with apartments and retail. Goldenrod pursues value-add and ground-up development in growth markets, and it named Oline Construction as general contractor for the Fort Worth project. The company’s work tends to concentrate on urban infill in cities adding population and jobs faster than existing supply can keep up with demand.

Goldenrod Companies is a vertically integrated real estate firm based in Omaha, founded in 2005 by former NFL offensive lineman Zach Wiegert. The company guides commercial projects from first concept through delivery and then holds and manages them, and it reports having acquired or developed more than $4.3 billion in property across multiple markets.
