Dewitt Carolinas

Dewitt Carolinas is a Raleigh developer founded in 1997 that acquires, develops, owns and manages property across North and South Carolina. Its work runs from Class A office to upscale multifamily and mixed-use resort communities, and its headquarters sits in 1000 Social, the first office tower it built at The Exchange Raleigh, a $1 billion, 40-acre district in Midtown. Phase Two started Oct. 29. Dewitt and Life Time broke ground that day on Life Time Living, a 20-story tower with 289 luxury apartments over an 80,000-square-foot athletic club and a rooftop beach club, with Consigli Construction as construction manager. The partners say they’ll put more than $200 million into the building. That’s a big bet on Raleigh’s luxury rental demand.
