From high-rise condominiums, to churches, to wastewater treatment facilities, we excel in our field. As one of the top commercial masonry contractors in the United States, we invite you to explore our site and see how Brazos Masonry can elevate your project.

Brazos Masonry, Inc. was established in 1989, according to the company’s own history page, and has spent more than three decades building a portfolio that spans higher education buildings, government facilities, medical centres, office and retail developments, and public schools.

Safety documentation runs deeper than a mission statement here. Every project gets a site-specific silica plan, addressing one of the more serious airborne hazards on a masonry job site. Fall protection gets similar attention: the company has shifted toward mast climbing scaffolds, which can be fully decked and railed at ground level rather than assembled piece by piece in the air, and requires crews on scaffolding to wear a harness and lanyard at all times. New hires go through a pre-hire physical before they are cleared for the physical demands of the job, and an ergonomic program targets the muscular and skeletal injuries that come with repetitive lifting.

Superintendents carry OSHA 30-hour training, CPR and first aid certification, and competent person credentials for both silica exposure and scaffolding, on top of supervisor training delivered at the company’s annual safety summit. Field crews work through a broader set of programs that includes forklift certification, aerial lift certification, scaffold erector and user training, and weekly on-site safety meetings.

The project history includes repeat recognition from the Texas masonry industry: Golden Trowel Awards going back to 2003, an MCAA TEAM Award for the City of San Antonio Public Safety Headquarters, and a Texas Construction Magazine Project of the Year award for Baylor University’s Baylor Sciences Building. Named projects on its portfolio page range from the Texas A&M Health Science Center and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center to high-rise work including 3rd & Brazos and Market Square Tower in Houston.
