A useful piece of context this listing can give you that the company’s own marketing does not lead with: Georgia does not licence roofing contractors at state level. Skyline says so directly, explaining that the State Licensing Board classes roofers as an Exempt Specialty Contractor, with voluntary licensure available through the Georgia Roofing Contractors Association. So the absence of a licence number on any Georgia roofer is normal, and the credentials that carry weight are the manufacturer ones instead.

On that measure Skyline holds both of the top-tier ones. GAF Master Elite, which the company notes is limited to under two percent of North American roofing contractors, and CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster, which required proof of workers compensation and liability cover to obtain. GAF Master Certified covers the commercial side.

The warranty position follows from that. A twenty-five year workmanship guarantee in writing covers installation error, separate from the material warranty, and GAF’s Golden Pledge backs the products.

The company is led by president Wes Hall, a Gainesville native, with a named team of nine across sales, production, project management and marketing. It describes itself as locally based and family owned and says most work comes by referral. A community involvement page sits in the main navigation.

Commercial work is a real line rather than an add-on, covering single-ply membrane and metal systems plus ongoing roof maintenance programs. Beyond roofing sit siding, seamless gutters and gutter guards, and window and door installation.

Two practical notes. Pricing can be approached either through an instant online roof estimate calculator or a free in-person assessment. And the office runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with no after-hours or emergency line advertised.
