JT Magen & Company

JT Magen & Company is a New York general contractor and construction manager founded in 1992 by Maurice Regan, who still runs it as CEO. The independently owned firm is headquartered on West 28th Street in Manhattan and has offices in Austin, Miami, Chicago and Toronto, plus a Los Angeles affiliate. It builds interiors and base-building work for financial services firms, law firms, healthcare, hospitality, broadcast and media, retail, mission-critical, nonprofit and residential clients, and keeps MEP coordination, BIM, safety, LEED and expediting staff in house. Macklowe Properties hired JT Magen as general contractor for the One Wall Street residential conversion in 2017, replacing Gilbane. The job turned Ralph Walker’s 1931 Irving Trust tower into 566 condominiums, the largest office-to-residential conversion in New York.
