Fluor Corporation has been engineering and building industrial infrastructure since 1912. The Irving, Texas company works as an integrated EPC contractor, carrying projects from front-end design through procurement, fabrication, construction and long-term maintenance rather than bidding discrete packages. Its portfolio runs across energy, chemicals, mining and metals, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, nuclear remediation for the U.S. Department of Energy, and public infrastructure. Fluor is one half of the Walsh-Fluor Design-Build Team that reached substantial completion in July 2026 on the Chicago Transit Authority’s $2.1 billion Red and Purple Modernization Phase One, rebuilding two miles of century-old elevated track while trains kept running. The firm reported roughly $15.5 billion in revenue for fiscal 2025 against a $25.5 billion backlog, and trades on the NYSE as FLR.
