Clayco is a full-service design-build firm founded in 1984 and based in Chicago. It self-performs large, complex projects across the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors, from advanced-manufacturing plants and data centers to corporate campuses and high-rise residential buildings. Clayco is known for building at megaproject scale and on demanding schedules, pairing in-house architecture, engineering, and construction under a single contract. The firm ranks among the largest builders in the United States and works nationwide from regional offices. Its current projects include Rivian’s $5 billion electric-vehicle plant in Stanton Springs, Georgia. That integrated model lets Clayco move from concept to delivery without handing risk between separate design and construction teams.
