BSI Constructors

BSI Constructors is a St. Louis general contractor and construction manager based at 6767 Southwest Avenue. A regional trade profile dates its incorporation to December 18, 1972, by Lorenz Bannes and Joseph Shaughnessy, and says the Shaughnessy family and a group of company executives own it today. The firm’s work is concentrated in institutional and commercial buildings around the St. Louis region. It doesn’t publish a headcount or annual volume. On the Powell Hall Renovation and Expansion in St. Louis, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra names BSI Constructors as project construction manager, leading a construction team of more than 30 specialty firms on the Snøhetta-designed expansion of the orchestra’s home.
