Scapin Electric

Scapin Electric is a licensed electrical services and generator installation company based in Pensacola, FL, serving Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, including Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Pace, Cantonment, and Pensacola Beach. The team specializes in standby generator installation and service, one of the few providers offering this in the area, along with panel upgrades, wiring, breakers, and surge protection for residential and commercial properties. Founded in 1979 and led by a State Certified Electrical Contractor (License #EC13002715) with nearly 50 years of experience, Scapin Electric has been a trusted name in Pensacola for over 45 years, offering financing options and dependable, quality workmanship on every job.

Standby generators are the specialty here, and Scapin Electric treats them as a service line with its own lifecycle rather than a one-time install: installation first, then maintenance and ongoing support. Financing is available for generators and other large electrical projects, subject to credit approval through Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., which is the detail that usually decides whether a whole-home unit happens this year or next.

Panel work is handled separately, with its own page for electrical panel upgrades and replacement. The fourth pillar of the business is less expected: home automation and smart technology, including audio and video system installation using Sonos, Apple and Sony equipment. For a renovation that needs rewiring, a new panel and a distributed audio system, that combination keeps the work with one contractor.

The office is at 2320 Town Street in Pensacola, open Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The company describes itself as locally owned and operated, with its tagline framed around family-focused expertise, and its master electrician credited with nearly 50 years in the trade. Residential and commercial work is split out, and the company handles both new builds and retrofits.

Customers in published reviews name Pam, Bill and Jordan among the staff, which is a reasonable signal in a trade where the same people tend to return for follow-up service. Contact runs through info@scapinelectric.com alongside the phone line, and the site keeps its service, review, financing and scheduling sections on a single page for quick reference.
