Rinder Electric

Rinder Electric LLC is a locally owned electrical contractor based in Indianapolis, serving homeowners and businesses throughout Central Indiana.

The named coverage area runs well past the city line: Beech Grove, Broad Ripple, Carmel, Fishers, Fortville, Geist, Greenfield, Greenwood, Irvington, Lawrence, Noblesville, Shelbyville, Whitestown and Zionsville, plus Indianapolis itself.

The owner’s route into the trade is set out on the site. A five-year apprenticeship, classes through the Independent Electrical Contractors and trade school to earn a journeyman’s licence, then five years with DGH Electric working high-rise apartment buildings before starting Rinder Electric.

Work splits between residential and commercial, with 24/7 emergency response for outages and fault-finding. Typical jobs named on the site are EV charging station installation, kitchen and custom lighting, electrical panel and meter upgrades, whole-house rewires, electric heating repairs, trenching and boring, and fire alarm installation. One published customer account describes a full rewire with all new fixtures across an entire house.

The pricing structure is unusually explicit for a small contractor. Estimates over the phone are free; an in-person estimate is $50, credited toward the job if the work goes ahead. First-time clients get ten percent off, and the company will price-match a better written quote. There are standing discounts for veterans, first responders and customers over 65, with a recurring-customer programme for veterans and over-65s.

Two recurring-revenue offers sit alongside that. A VIP membership at $179 a year covers service fees and includes an annual electrical system check-up against code. A referral programme pays $50 toward the next service call for each new customer referred. Financing is available on approval, and the company runs holiday lighting specials.

Electricians are described as licensed, insured and bonded, with the work backed by a satisfaction guarantee.
