RB DELTA ELECTRIC

From Residential Electrical Work to Commercial & Industrial Expertise, RB Delta Electric began eight years ago with residential electrical work: rewiring, panel upgrades, new construction wiring and emergency calls. That foundation grew into semi heavy commercial and industrial installations including switchgear, step up transformers, raceway and EMT conduit, general lighting and power distribution. Today, the same contractor (C-10 license # 1046368) handles homes, businesses and industrial facilities under one license, with a written scope and an honest appraisal of the work your property genuinely needs.

One piece of California law shapes most of what follows: any electrical job of $500 or more legally requires a C-10 licensed contractor. RB Delta publishes that threshold itself, along with its license number, which makes the rest of its pricing talk easier to read.

On panel work, the company lists the specific symptoms it treats as a replacement case rather than a repair case. Breakers tripping when several large appliances run at the same time. A panel rated at 100 amps or less, or a fuse box still in service. Breakers warm to the touch, scorch marks, flickering lights, and no remaining space to add a circuit. Any of those points at capacity rather than a fault.

Whole-house rewiring is quoted as a range rather than a figure — roughly $8,000 to $20,000 or more — with square footage, circuit count and how easily walls can be opened as the three variables. Knob-and-tube wiring, it notes, normally has to come out entirely rather than being patched into.

EV charger installs start with a load calculation rather than a product choice, because panel capacity and conduit routing are what actually set the price. The company says it is extending that work from residential chargers into commercial EV charging infrastructure.

For anything beyond a simple repair, it prefers to walk the property before quoting. Commercial fit-out work covers offices, retail, restaurants and warehouses, scheduled around business hours where the site allows it, and includes load calculations and dedicated 240V circuits for equipment.

The industrial end is a different scale of work: switchgear, step-up transformers, power distribution, lighting and battery backup systems.

Emergency criteria are stated plainly, which is more useful than a 24-hour promise. Call immediately for a burning smell, sparking, a scorched outlet, repeated breaker trips, water reaching electrical equipment, or a power loss that has stopped a business from operating.

Credentials: California C-10 license #1046368, plus OSHA 30-hour outreach training, certificate #20-602138787.

Coverage is geographically split and worth checking against your own address before calling. The company lists three separate California regions — the Bay Area peninsula around San Mateo, Redwood City, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale; Los Angeles County from the Pico Rivera base at 4519 Lindsey Avenue; and the Fresno and Clovis area of the Central Valley.
