The distinction that matters most on this listing is Level 2. Easther Electrical holds ASP Level 2 accreditation issued through the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, with authorisation from network operators including Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid. That allows work at the point of connection to the network itself, which a general electrical contractor cannot touch: service mains and consumer mains, disconnections and reconnections, metering and smart meter installation, and private power poles.

In storm season that accreditation is the practical difference. Downed service lines and live wires, inspection and testing after severe weather, emergency barge fuse replacement, restoring infrastructure after an outage and rectifying electricity defect notices all fall inside Level 2 scope.

Three named projects give a sense of the commercial range: field lighting for Vikings Rugby Club, consumer mains together with lighting, power and data for the Central Hotel at Shellharbour, and new electricity poles at the Continental Pool in Wollongong, which the company describes as technically difficult and requiring advance planning. Electrical Compliance Reports are issued for system certification, and the firm also handles granny flat and secondary dwelling supply connections and temporary builder supply.

The business operates from 4 Industrial Lane, Oak Flats, and trades as Easther Electrical Pty Ltd, ABN 67142395695. Office hours run Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with emergency call-outs available around the clock outside them. Named coverage stretches across the Illawarra from Wollongong and Port Kembla south through Shellharbour, Shell Cove, Albion Park and Kiama, and north to Corrimal, Woonona, Bulli and Thirroul.

Outside the trade work, the company mentors Sydney Trains apprentices and runs mentoring for local high school students considering an electrical career.
