A correction worth recording first. This listing pointed at a Google Maps link rather than a website. Dormit X Enterprises trades online at dormitxelectric.com.

The business runs from two Lower Mainland branches, at 106-2691 Viscount Way in Richmond and 1609-4688 Kingsway in Burnaby, on a single line, 778-668-3309, serving Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and Surrey.

Founder Ben is a certified Class A Field Safety Representative. The company holds TSBC licence LEL0207083, is registered with WorkSafeBC, and carries insurance to ten million dollars. Work is performed by Red Seal or Master Electricians to the Canadian Electrical Code.

EV charging is the centre of gravity. The company handles EVSE consulting, design, installation and ongoing operations and maintenance, and separately helps clients navigate charger rebate and incentive programmes, which is often the difference between a strata project penciling out and stalling. Site assessment and cost-benefit analysis for charger siting is treated as its own piece of work, done before anyone commits to conduit routes.

Beyond EV, the company covers strata electrical service, commercial tenant improvements, security system installation, and residential and commercial electrical projects generally.

Over more than five years the client base has shifted toward strata councils, property managers and commercial building owners, the customers for whom a multi-unit charger rollout is a governance problem as much as an electrical one. Availability is seven days a week, year round. Email service@dormitxelectric.com.
