At Blue Pacific Drywall Ltd., we pride ourselves on being Surrey’s premier destination for top-quality drywall, insulation, painting, and steel stud framing services. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to delivering exceptional workmanship and unparalleled customer service.

The numbers Blue Pacific publishes about itself are the most informative part of its profile: established 2001, more than 100 skilled tradespeople on staff, $10 million commercial general liability insurance, active WorkSafeBC registration, and Level 5 finish capability. Each of those is a gate on what work a drywall contractor can bid. A hundred-plus crew and $10M CGL put multi-family and commercial projects within reach that a small outfit cannot insure or staff.

Level 5 deserves explanation, because it is the one spec on that list a client may not recognise. It is the highest drywall finishing standard, requiring a skim coat across the entire surface rather than finishing joints and fasteners alone. It is specified where critical lighting or gloss paint would otherwise reveal every imperfection — which is why it appears in lobbies and feature walls and not in bedroom closets. A contractor offering both Level 4 and Level 5 can price the distinction honestly instead of defaulting to one.

The scope runs from framing to finished paint under one contract: interior steel stud partitions, bulkheads, ceilings and feature walls built to the drawings, then thermal batts, blown-in insulation, vapour barrier, spray foam, firestopping and sound insulation for party walls, then boarding, taping and sanding, then interior and exterior painting including doors and trim. Walls are checked for deficiencies before the painters start — a sequencing detail that prevents the familiar argument over whose defect it is.

A renovation division handles home, commercial, kitchen, bathroom, basement and exterior work plus decks and patios.

Geographically the reach is unusual for a drywall firm. Beyond the Lower Mainland — Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley, Delta, Abbotsford and Chilliwack — the company lists Vancouver Island at Victoria, Nanaimo and Langford, and the BC Interior at Kelowna, Kamloops and Merritt.

It remains family-owned, and quotes are free.
