DRYWALL SYSTEMS
ASH Drywall are amongst the leading regional UK construction firms specialising in drywall systems for both residential and commercial projects. Centrally located in the South East of England we can advise clients on the economies, safety and environmental aspects of all major plasterboard manufacturers’ drywall systems. Our collaborative approach encourages value engineering, without compromising the overall specification and/or buildability.
PARTITIONING
ASH Drywall have many years of experience in all forms of commercial and residential interior partitioning including metal stud and glazed systems in both traditional and modern forms. We understand that every project has unique acoustic, fire and dimensional requirements when considering partitioning aspects, with each project needing a bespoke assesment and approach. We will assist your team in finding the right solution for your project.
PLASTERING & JOINTING
Achieving a high standard of finishing is essential for any project and our experienced team place quality at the centre of everything we do. In addition to being intimately familiar with traditional plastering / jointing techniques, ASH Drywall also embrace a host of more modern, progressive techniques. For example, spray-applied plaster finishes, which can be applied more safely and with limited environmental impact (due to a nominal water requirement).
SUSPENDED CEILINGS
ASH Drywall install suspended ceiling systems optimised for acoustics, fire resistance, hygiene and thermal insulation. From widely used MF Ceilings, to more bespoke timber-clad feature ceilings, our team are comfortable installing a variety of systems and will always take your specific requirements into account. Ash Drywall co-ordinate with interfacing trades to ensure greater project efficiencies as the build progresses.
STEEL FRAMED SYSTEMS (SFS)
ASH Drywall are accredited installers of numerous cold-rolled SFS systems including Metsec, Kingspan and EOS. We widely install SFS Infill systems on high-rise residential and larger commercial projects, but can also offer load-bearing structural systems, where required.

Willmott Dixon, Kier, the Berkeley Group and Thakeham all appear in ASH Drywall’s published client feedback, which says most of what needs saying about the tier of main contractor this Heathfield subcontractor works under. Named packages include Harris Academy Sutton and Blenheim Park for Willmott Dixon, The Beacon in Eastbourne for Kier, Saffron Square and Highwood Village for Berkeley, plus the Wave leisure centre at Littlehampton, Old House Estate and South Beach Apartments.
The trading entity behind the brand is DM & C Ash Limited, operating from Unit 1 on the Ghyll Road Industrial Estate. Its quality management policy claims more than 30 years in drylining, and the work is run centrally across London, Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire rather than through regional offices.
Where the firm separates itself on a tender list is prequalification, and there is a lot of it. ASH holds Constructionline Gold, which requires an enhanced assessment beyond PAS 91, and meets SSIP through both CHAS Premium Plus and SMAS Worksafe. It is a member of FIS, the interior fit-out sector body, and every site operative is a card-holding member of the CSCS with CITB training behind it. Third-party certification from the IFC Group makes ASH an accredited installer of fire protection products and systems — relevant on any compartmentation or high-rise SFS infill package. IPAF and PASMA cover powered access and access towers.
Beyond safety, the company is party to the GLAA Construction Protocol and Stronger Together on modern slavery, a signatory to the Building Mental Health Charter, an active member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, and part of the government’s Disability Confident scheme. City & Guilds routes are used both for apprentices and for widening the skills of experienced operatives.
Manufacturer relationships are named openly, which is useful to a specifier: British Gypsum, Knauf and Siniat on board systems; Metsec, Kingspan and EOS on cold-rolled steel framing; Rockwool, Isover, Celotex and EcoTherm on insulation; Sto, Weber, Permarock, SPSenvirowall, Trespa and RCM across render and facade products; Cemex and Tarmac on screed materials.
