REDLEE/SCS traces back to December 1982, when Charles Redfearn and his son Chuck founded the company in Tulsa, Oklahoma — Charles handling contracts, Chuck running the crews. One of their first accounts was Oral Roberts University, where they maintained the campus, dorms, and faculty buildings. A second branch opened in Dallas in 1984, and the Redfearn family relocated there two years later, which is why Dallas is now home base.

The company is a certified Native American minority-owned business, a detail it treats as central to how it operates rather than a footnote. Today it runs ten metro locations — Dallas/Fort Worth, Abilene, and Midland/Odessa in Texas, plus Birmingham, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Little Rock, Richmond, Roanoke, and Tulsa — and reports over a hundred managers and office staff plus thousands of cleaners nationwide, working across more than 750 buildings for upward of 2,090 clients.

Every worker goes through a pre-employment screening and background check, wears a standardized uniform, and carries a proprietary ID badge, so building managers know who’s on-site at any hour. Account managers are reachable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and REDLEE/SCS carries insurance coverage up to $1,000,000. The company holds an ISSA CIMS-GB Certified with Honors designation and lists affiliations with IFMA, BOMA International, and the U.S. Green Building Council.

Outside the core account work, REDLEE/SCS runs housekeeping and porter services, restroom cleaning, window washing, furniture cleaning, business move-in/move-out cleaning, and even handyman and water-extraction work for clients who need more than a mop and a vacuum.
