Zachry Construction Corporation

Zachry Construction Corporation has been a fixture of Texas heavy civil work since 1924, running roughly 1,500 employees out of San Antonio with additional operations in North and South Carolina. The firm builds highways and bridges, underground utilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, civil sitework, airport paving and environmental projects. ENR ranked it 215th on its 2024 Top 400 list with $576.4 million in revenue. Zachry acquired Crescent Constructors in September 2025 specifically to deepen its municipal water capability, and in June 2026 Crescent won an $89 million contract from the City of Lewisville to expand the Prairie Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant from 12 to 16 million gallons per day while the plant stays fully operational. Other work includes US 380 in Denton County, the DFW Airport northeast end-around taxiway and Wesley Seale Dam.
