ZGF Architects

ZGF Architects is a national architecture and planning practice founded in Portland, Oregon in 1942 as Zimmer Gunsul Frasca. The firm designs healthcare, aviation, academic, and workplace buildings, with a strong track record in mass timber and low-carbon design. ZGF designed the long-span mass timber roof over the Portland International Airport terminal core in collaboration with Arup and KPFF, one of the largest structural timber roofs built in the United States. The firm operates offices across the country and is a repeat winner of national design awards for its institutional and transportation work.
