Revuelta Architecture International

Revuelta Architecture International is a Miami architecture firm led by principal Luis Revuelta, AIA, working out of Coconut Grove. The firm says it’s spent more than two decades partnering with local and national developers, and its portfolio leans on South Florida condo towers, office buildings and mixed-use projects. Revuelta designed One Kane, the seven-story, 126,000-square-foot Class A office building at 9551 East Bay Harbor Drive in Bay Harbor Islands. Taubco and Landau Properties are developing it with Civic Construction as GC. The building topped out in October and is set to deliver in early 2027, with eight private yacht slips on the seawall and plans for LEED certification.

Three parts of Revuelta’s practice don’t show up in the condo-tower reputation.

The first is automobile dealerships. The firm lists them alongside residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use work as a core project type. Dealerships are a specialised building programme with their own showroom, service-bay and vehicle-circulation logic, and few South Florida design firms name them as a line of business.

The second is historic work. Revuelta puts the conservation and rehabilitation of historically significant structures on its firm profile as a stated focus rather than an occasional commission. The Bath Club, on the project list, is the obvious example.

The third is sustainability framed in economic terms. The firm’s own phrasing is quality designs balanced with sustainable and economically feasible solutions, with green and sustainable systems and building practices named directly. Treating feasibility as a design constraint rather than a separate consultant’s problem is a particular position to take.

The built record is almost entirely South Florida landmarks: Azure, Epic, The Bath Club, Il Villagio, Grovenor House, Wind, Mint, Ivy, Porto Vita North and South, 900 Biscayne, La Rive Gauche and Santa Maria. The firm says it has partnered with top local and national developers. Its news page points at work with Ugo Colombo and at a project it describes as the tallest residential building south of Manhattan.

The studio is small and principal-led. Luis O. Revuelta is principal and Barbara Pederzoli is associate, both AIA. For a developer that means design decisions sit close to the top of the firm rather than being delegated down a studio hierarchy — a practical difference on a tower where the architect of record is coordinating consultants under a compressed programme.

The office is at 2950 SW 27th Avenue, Suite 110, Miami. Enquiries go to info@revuelta.com or 305.590.5000. The firm publishes no social profiles.
