Page & Turnbull

Page & Turnbull is a San Francisco architecture, planning and preservation firm that grew out of the office Charles Page opened in the early 1970s; Jay Turnbull joined in 1981. It works from 170 Maiden Lane, with further offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Jose and the Washington, D.C. area. Three studios cover architecture and design, cultural resources planning and research, and preservation technology, staffed by architects, conservators, historians and planners. The firm is a certified woman-owned business in California. On the Castro Theatre Restoration in San Francisco, Architectural Record identifies Page & Turnbull as preservation architect, co-leading the $41 million conversion with CAW Architects. ENR says the owners first hired the firm in 2017 to assess the building.
