FXCollaborative

FXCollaborative is a New York architecture, interiors and planning firm founded in 1978 and known for high-rise residential, cultural, civic and educational work. The practice designed the 55-story, 676-foot tower rising at 24-19 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, where the massing rotates roughly 45 degrees above a multistory podium to align with Jackson Avenue and is clad in a black-panel grid framing reflective glass curtain wall. That building will hold 600 apartments over 10,000 square feet of retail beside the Court Square subway complex. The firm works across the New York metropolitan area and nationally, with a portfolio that spans towers, transit architecture, schools and adaptive reuse.
