O&G Industries

O&G Industries is a Torrington, Connecticut general contractor and construction manager, and one of New England’s largest privately held builders. Founded in 1923, it works across transportation, public works, education, healthcare and commercial buildings, and it runs a large materials and aggregates business that supplies its own heavy-civil projects. ENR named O&G its 2026 New England Contractor of the Year, citing its range across complex infrastructure and high-performance civic work. The firm self-performs concrete, excavation and other trades, a depth that lets it take on both large bridges and vertical buildings. O&G remains family-owned after a century in business.
