Impact Crawlspace started in 2022, though its owner, Dwayne Hubbard, has worked in the industry since 2009. His background is in pest control, and that shows in how the company approaches a crawl space: the crews are trained to identify termite tubes, wood-destroying beetles and fungi during inspection, so the moisture problem and the insect problem get read together rather than separately.

It is also clear about what it does not do in-house. Ongoing pest management goes to partner pest control companies, and major structural repairs go to vetted subcontractors. The everyday work stays with its own crews.

After installation there is a defined follow-up rather than a handshake. A quality inspection one week on, a service inspection at six months, and before-and-after photographs documenting each stage. Installations and products carry a first-year warranty.

The product stack is named rather than generic: Walder Foundation, Owens Corning insulation, Your Crawlspace out of South Carolina, Bora foam, Triplex Insulation, Aprilaire dehumidifiers, and Concrobium for disinfection. Dehumidifiers are self-draining professional units that can be monitored from inside the house. Crawl space doors are built in the company’s own shop to fit each opening rather than ordered to a standard size.

Pre-listing and homebuyer crawlspace inspections are offered at around seventy-five dollars, which is a published price rather than a quote-on-request. Discounts of up to a hundred and fifty dollars are offered to veterans, first responders and teachers, and financing runs through GreenSky.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Coverage runs across eastern North Carolina from Pink Hill and La Grange through Kinston, Goldsboro, Jacksonville and Greenville to New Bern and Raleigh. Note that the company’s own contact details give its physical location as La Grange.
