Merriman Anderson Architects

Merriman Anderson Architects has been designing buildings out of Dallas since 1987, and it’s heading into its 40th year with offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Covington, Ky. The firm handles architecture, interior design, master planning and sustainability consulting, with LEED- and WELL-accredited staff. Hospitality’s a big part of the book: its portfolio includes the HALL Park Hotel, an Autograph Collection property, and the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa. Its latest Uptown job just opened. Merriman Anderson designed the AC Hotel and Moxy Dallas Uptown, a 19-story, 264-room dual-brand Marriott tower at 2910 N. Hall St. that Peachtree Group opened Nov. 5. Fitting two flags, two lobbies and a 261-stall garage onto one Uptown site isn’t a simple stack.
