What “turnkey” means here is specific, and worth pinning down. The quoted price bundles the support equipment, the water treatment and a maintenance tool kit, and it also absorbs the building permit, which the company pulls itself. The included equipment covers an automatic cleaner, a chlorinator and the tool package.

A typical build runs about two weeks, weather permitting.

Ongoing cost is where the numbers get useful. Annual upkeep is put at under $500 excluding electricity. A vinyl liner is given a 10 to 15 year service life, and the pool never needs to be drained — winterizing included — except to change that liner. Filter guidance is a backwash at least every two weeks, and on chlorine systems, fresh filter sand every six years.

Some build decisions get settled by code rather than preference. A diving board is only possible on a pool of at least 16 by 32 feet with 8 feet of depth, per the ANSI/NSPI-5 2003 standard, so the board question has to be answered before the shape is drawn. Underwater lighting is sealed 12-volt and built to NEMA and local code. Equipment is specified outdoor-rated, which means no separate pump house.

The planning conversation itself follows a checklist: intended use, size and depth, orientation in the yard, access for the equipment site, which utilities are available, and where steps, bays, lights and flow controls land. Spas, spillovers, steps and swim-outs are all built in rather than added on.

Crews are in-house. The company states it does not use subcontractors on pool construction and acts as the single point of contact, which is the main structural difference between a builder and a broker in this trade.

There is also a retail side at 2412 N. Church Street, carrying chemicals, equipment, supplies, liners and covers, with free in-store water testing for pools and spas. It is a Maytronics Dolphin dealer and repair specialist, and runs M-Series vacuum trial demos for anyone weighing a robotic cleaner against a pressure-side one. Store hours are Monday through Thursday 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The company holds a North Carolina General Contractor license and is a member of the Northeast Pool and Spa Association. Coverage reaches Chapel Hill, Durham, Hillsborough, Mebane, Graham, Elon, Gibsonville, Whitsett, Efland, Snow Camp, Swepsonville and Guilford County.
