North HVAC Services, Inc Heating & Air Conditioning

Reliable heating and cooling start with the right plan, especially in Petaluma, CA where seasonal shifts call for efficient equipment and regular upkeep. When considering heating installation in Petaluma, property owners often weigh system size, available ductwork, and energy efficiency to match each building’s layout. During warm spells, uneven cooling, short cycling, or warm air from vents can indicate electrical or airflow issues that lead to AC repair, which typically begins with checks of filters, coils, and thermostat settings. Indoor air quality also benefits from proper filtration and routine maintenance, helping reduce dust and allergens throughout the home. For homes looking to consolidate heating and cooling, heat pump installation can offer steady comfort with attention to refrigerant charge, outdoor clearances, and thermostat programming. In Sonoma County’s mild climate, right-sizing and maintenance are key to keeping utility costs predictable. North HVAC Services, Inc Heating & Air Conditioning provides information to help residents understand options, coordinate scheduling, and keep systems operating within manufacturer guidelines.

North HVAC Services has been working on Petaluma systems since January 1988, and it is still run by two brothers. Chris bought in alongside the previous owner, having come up through the trade as a journeyman, and his brother Paul later joined him as co-owner on the service side. Between them the owners count more than forty years in the trade.

The warranty structure is unusually layered for a company this size, and it is worth understanding before comparing quotes. Qualifying installations carry a 10-year workmanship guarantee. Qualifying Mitsubishi equipment can carry a 12-year Diamond Warranty, which the company can offer because it holds Mitsubishi Preferred Diamond Contractor status. VIP Install clients may qualify for labor warranty protection of up to ten years, and clients who keep eligible equipment on a maintenance membership may receive a five-year labor warranty on top. Memberships come in standard and VIP tiers.

Equipment lines run to Mitsubishi and American Standard, with ductless mini-splits and heat pumps handled as their own service rather than as an afterthought to ducted work. Comfort controls and thermostats are sold, installed and serviced as a separate line item, which matters on heat pump retrofits where the control is as likely to cause a complaint as the equipment.
