Precision Fenceworks

Precision Fenceworks is a fence company based in Bogart, Georgia. We have served Athens, Lawrenceville, the Atlanta metro, and Northeast Georgia since 2011. We install and repair wood privacy fences, vinyl, aluminum, ornamental iron and chain link  fence. We also install farm and ranch fences, pool fences, pet fencing, and gates.  We work on residential and commercial properties. Every fence estimate starts on site. We walk the line with you, check the grade, and confirm property lines and HOA rules before anything is ordered. Georgia red clay swells and shrinks with the season. We build for it. Our crews are licensed and fully insured. Every project is backed by a 5-year workmanship guarantee. Precision Fenceworks is an A+ rated fence company with the BBB. We serve Athens, Bogart, Watkinsville, Winterville, Statham, Monroe, and Lake Oconee. We also cover Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Alpharetta, and the greater Atlanta metro. Free on-site fence estimate. Call (770) 725-0777.

Permitting is the step most Athens fence projects stumble on, and it is worth sorting before anything is ordered. Athens-Clarke County folds fences into its zoning permit review, and a locally designated historic property needs review for exterior changes on top of that. The company links directly to the county’s permit and historic application pages, which saves a homeowner working out which office to call.

It also shapes how an estimate is prepared. Four things are asked for up front: the property address, a sketch of the fence line, photos showing how a crew would get equipment to the back of the property, and any zoning or historic-review information already in hand. Access photos sound trivial until a Five Points or Cobbham lot with a narrow side yard turns a half-day post-setting job into something else.

The installation itself runs as four steps: discuss the project, choose the look, confirm the plan, then install and walk the finished line. Confirming the plan is where property boundaries, HOA requirements and approvals get resolved, before material is ordered. The final walkthrough checks that gates swing and latch properly and covers care and coverage with the homeowner.

Material options run to wood privacy and picket, vinyl, aluminum, ornamental steel, chain-link and Trex composite, with pool, pet and farm fencing handled as distinct jobs rather than variations on a privacy fence.
