Golden Space Construction operates out of El Sobrante and is family-owned, with Eleni Neto listed as co-founder. The company brands itself under two names, Golden Space Construction and Golden Space Hardscape, which is worth noting if you come across both.

Manufacturer credentials are the clearest signal of what this crew is set up to install. The company states ICPI certification for interlocking concrete pavement, and separate certifications from Calstone, Belgard and Basalite. Those three brands cover most of the paver and segmental wall systems used around the East Bay, and being credentialed on them generally means access to the manufacturer’s installation specs and detailing. The company also describes itself as a state-licensed and insured general contractor and is listed as a BBB accredited business.

One service sits outside the usual hardscape menu: custom volleyball court construction, which the company lists on its own rather than folding into general site work. The pitch there is about precise grading and drainage rather than surfacing, which is the part most sand court installations get wrong.

The service-area list published on the site is broader than the one on this listing. Along with El Sobrante, the company names Antioch, El Cerrito, Pinole, Danville, Brentwood, Oakley, Pleasant Hill, Pittsburg, Orinda, Oakland, Martinez, Lafayette and Concord, each with its own page.

Two practical notes. The company states 15-plus years of experience but does not publish a founding year, so the exact age of the business is unclear from its own materials. And several of the statistics counters on its About page currently display zero, which appears to be an unfinished template rather than a claim about the work. Neither affects what the crew builds, but both are the kind of thing worth asking about directly if you are comparing bids.
