C&C Concrete Pumping

C&C Concrete Pumping is a concrete pumping, placing and finishing contractor based in Medley, Florida, in Miami-Dade County. It says it has more than 50 years in the concrete business and has worked on over 1,400 projects. The company runs four regions, Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Dallas, and its services include concrete pumping, high-rise placing booms, finishing, polishing, repairs and specialty pours. It lists more than 30 certified technicians, operators and finishers, including ACI-certified finishers and ACPA-certified operators. Pepi Cancio is CEO. On the Tampa Riverwalk, C&C partnered with Coastal Construction on the vertical concrete for Pendry Tampa, the 38-story hotel and condo tower that Two Roads Development topped out in October 2026.

There is a physical reason high-rise concrete work needs different equipment, and C&C explains it plainly: a conventional truck-mounted pump cannot place concrete from the hose much above the fourth floor. Past that, the job needs a placing boom, which is why the company treats high-rise placing boom and finishing as a service line of its own rather than an accessory to pumping.

Leadership runs three deep. Pepi Cancio is CEO, Alec Cancio is president and also appears on the Tampa team, and Mario Penzo is chief financial officer, with separate branch and operations leads listed for Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Dallas.

The certifications are worth reading closely because they sit on two different axes. On the craft side, the company lists A.C.I. certified finishers and A.C.P.A. certified operators, covering the finishing crew and the pump operators respectively. On the procurement side it holds a Texas Minority Certification and a Texas HUB Certification, which are the designations that matter when a Texas public owner has participation goals attached to a contract.

Scope extends past placement into the finish itself: concrete finishing, polishing, repairs, specialised pours, and decorative driveway and patio work. Named projects on the site include The Muse, Porsche Design Tower and the SLS Tower, with a mat pour video referencing One Thousand Museum, the kind of pour where volume and continuity, not reach, are the constraint.

Two operational details. The company runs city-specific payment pages for Miami, Dallas, Orlando and Tampa, so billing is handled per region rather than centrally. And it states its coverage as throughout the state of Florida plus Dallas, Texas, which is broader than a four-city office footprint would imply and useful to know if a job sits between markets.
