We provide interior design and project assistance for customers planning new construction, remodeling, or updates to their homes. Our services cover individual spaces as well as complete home design, with an approach that considers the layout, appearance, functionality, and overall direction of each project.
Our interior design services include kitchen design, bathroom design, and full house design for customers looking to create cohesive and well-planned spaces. We also provide landscape and pool design to help coordinate outdoor areas with the overall property. For customers undertaking home remodeling projects, our home interior design services can help develop the design direction and details needed for the planned changes.
In addition to design work, we assist with construction-related requirements. Our services include construction services assistance, construction documents, and building permit services, helping customers navigate the documentation and permitting aspects of their projects. These services can support projects from the design stage through the preparation and coordination needed before construction begins.
As interior designers, we work with customers to develop spaces that reflect their needs and the intended use of the property. Whether the project involves designing a kitchen or bathroom, planning the interior of an entire home, developing a landscape and pool concept, or preparing for a remodeling or construction project, we provide design and project assistance based on the specific scope and requirements.
Kerry Benjamin founded Kloud B Studio and fronts the design work herself. Her stated starting point is a client’s lifestyle and personality rather than a prevailing trend, and she describes the aim of an engagement as a process the client finds calm rather than fraught.
The studio publishes its process as six stages, which is useful to know before a first call. It opens with an in-person consultation. Stage two produces layout and drawings prepared specifically for building permits. A concept and color scheme follow, scoped to the client’s budget. Material selections come next, covering furniture and fixtures as well as finishes. Stage five is 3D renderings, so a kitchen or bathroom can be reviewed before anything is ordered. The last stage hands over a comprehensive design package for the contractor to build from.
That sequence explains why construction documents and building permit services sit alongside the design work. The drawings produced at stage two are the set a building department asks for, so a homeowner moving plumbing locations or adding a room is not left to assemble a permit package separately.
Where the studio works
The named service area is wider than the Dublin address suggests. Pleasanton, Livermore, Danville and Alamo cover the Tri-Valley; Lafayette and Martinez reach into central Contra Costa; and Newark, Piedmont, San Leandro and Alameda sit on the inner East Bay side. Sunol and Kilkare Woods are listed too, which are small enough that naming them suggests the studio works where the job is rather than inside a fixed radius.
Landscape and pool design is offered alongside the interior work. On a Tri-Valley lot that pairing is practical rather than decorative, since the pool deck and the kitchen that opens onto it are usually decided at the same time and by the same drawings.
Booking a first conversation
A free 15-minute consultation call is offered. For a remodel, that is long enough to establish whether the project needs permit drawings, which is the single answer that sets most of the schedule and a good share of the cost.
