Fisher Dachs Associates

Fisher Dachs Associates is a theater planning and design consultancy based on West 19th Street in Manhattan. Broadway lighting designer Jules Fisher founded the practice, and Joshua Dachs is its principal-in-charge. The firm says it has guided more than 1,000 performing arts projects over five decades, from community theaters and campus halls to opera houses, concert halls, cruise ship venues and music clubs across the U.S. and abroad. Its services cover feasibility studies, room shaping, seating and sightlines, backstage planning, stage rigging and automation, performance lighting and audiovisual systems, and its staff includes set and lighting designers, architects, stage technicians and production managers. At Lincoln Center, Fisher Dachs was theater designer on the David Geffen Hall renovation, working with Diamond Schmitt Architects and acoustician Akustiks.
