Insight Property Group

Insight Property Group is a Washington-area real estate developer headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, working across multifamily, townhome and mixed-use product in the District, Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland. The firm handles land entitlement, capitalization, design management and construction oversight in house, and has leaned into the region’s office-to-residential opportunity as Class B office trades at a fraction of its last-cycle basis. In August 2026 Insight acquired 2051 Jamieson Avenue in Alexandria’s Carlyle district for $7.1 million, a 147,000-square-foot, six-story office building already entitled for conversion to 187 apartments with four additional stories and a mechanical penthouse stacked on the existing frame. The building last traded at $65.8 million in 2008.
