Rise and shine Group of Companies

Rise & Shine Group provides professional firestop inspection and remediation services to identify damaged, missing, deteriorated and improperly installed firestop systems. Our specialists inspect penetrations, joints, fire-rated walls and floors, and help restore passive fire protection using appropriate tested and approved systems.

Rise and Shine describes itself as protecting people, assets and infrastructure since 2007, and now operates across six countries: the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India and Canada. The group reports more than 2,000 completed projects, over 1,000 skilled professionals across the organisation, and nearly two decades of trading history.

The Indian operation is one arm of that network rather than a standalone firm, which matters for anyone specifying work here: the systems, certifications and installation standards are shared across the group.

The service range is wider than firestopping alone. Passive fire protection covers firestop systems, perimeter fire containment, construction joint firestopping, cementitious fireproofing, thin film intumescent coatings, epoxy intumescent fireproofing, and fire resistive board and blanket systems. Insulation and HVAC cladding covers thermal insulation, acoustic solutions including underlayment and floating floors, HVAC and industrial aluminium cladding, and removable insulation systems. A third group handles industrial and commercial protection through GRP lining, polyurea protective coatings, corrosion protection and fireproofing. Engineering services cover concrete coring and cutting, expansion joint systems, technical surveys, firestop inspection and remediation, and ongoing maintenance and compliance support.

Certification is central to how the group sells. It holds ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and lists membership of the Firestop Contractors International Association, the National Fireproofing Contractors Association and the Fire and Security Association of India, alongside accredited installer status for the systems it fits.

The industries served run to commercial construction, healthcare, hospitality, airports, industrial facilities, oil and gas, data centres, infrastructure projects and residential development. That spread is consistent with passive fire protection work, where the specification is driven by the building code and the tested assembly rather than by the sector.

The group is chaired by Dr Ravi Subramanyam Govardhanam, who has a background in mechanical engineering and close to two decades of industry experience, and under whose leadership the six-country expansion took place.
