Kaizen Intl

Kaizen Intl is a leading project management consultancy (PMC) in Chennai, delivering end-to-end construction project management for commercial, residential, factory, and warehouse projects across Tamil Nadu with expert planning and execution.

Two projects on the firm’s own reference list give a sense of the scale it works at. For Hightemp Furnaces, Kaizen Intl ran architectural and structural design plus project-management consulting on two new manufacturing units at the client’s premises, one of 4,500 square feet and a second of 18,000. For Global Cooling Systems it delivered a 6,000 square foot warehouse at Madhavaram in Chennai, where the scope ran past the shell to civil works, pre-engineered building systems, storage racking and internal roads.

The consultancy sits between the owner and the trades rather than swinging a hammer. Its service list covers planning and layout development, architectural and structural design coordination, tender documentation, contractor identification and finalisation, then progress monitoring, quality assurance and bill checking through to handover. Clients who already have an architect and a builder appointed can engage the construction management and coordination service on its own, which puts an independent set of eyes on quality, progress and schedule without displacing the team already in place.

The second half of the business is product rather than process. Kaizen builds pre-engineered steel structures directly: warehouses, godowns, cold storage and distribution centres; factory and manufacturing plant shells; rooftop prefabricated structures, utility enclosures and terrace covers; portable office, supervisor and security cabins; and container-based units fitted out as staff quarters, restaurants, cafés, retail shops, gyms and home theatres.

Work is concentrated in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu, with referenced projects in Madhavaram, Nolambur, Aminjikarai and as far south as Tirunelveli. The contact point named across client references is Rama Prasad, who clients describe as running frequent site visits and turning around site issues quickly.

For an owner setting up a plant or a warehouse, the practical distinction is that the same firm can be brought in at the feasibility stage to structure the tender, or later to police an existing contract, or engaged to design and put up the building itself.
