Industrial Constructors/Managers, Inc.

Industrial Constructors/Managers Inc. (ICM Inc.) is a leading industrial construction company specializing in heavy construction, fabrication, plant maintenance, rigging, piping, electrical, and specialty services. With a commitment to safety, quality, and client-focused solutions, we deliver reliable, high-performance industrial projects across diverse industries.

The certifications are the part of this listing that changes who ICM can bid to. The company operates as an AISC certified structural steel erector and runs two AISC certified steel fabrication shops, alongside a separate pipe fabrication facility. On projects where the specification requires certified erection and certified fabrication, that combination lets a single contractor carry the whole steel package instead of splitting it.

Nine named service lines sit under that: steel erection, pipe fabrication, steel fabrication, plant shutdown and relocation, equipment installation, millwright work, concrete, process piping and pre-engineered metal buildings. Plant shutdown and relocation and millwright services are the pairing that signals this is a maintenance and turnaround contractor as much as a builder, working inside operating facilities on fixed outage windows.

The industry list points the same way. ICM works in aerospace, pharmaceutical, government, mining and mineral, electronics and data centers, airports and baggage handling systems, food and beverage, manufacturing, energy and education. Baggage handling systems in particular is a niche that requires the equipment installation and millwright capability rather than general contracting.

Ed Myers is president and chief executive. The company’s published values are honesty, integrity, humility and teamwork, with stated priorities of commitment, safety, quality and relationships, and it describes itself as relationship-based. Its safety policy places responsibility on management and supervision for prevention, holds each supervisor accountable for the safety performance of their crew, and states explicitly that safety is not to be traded against production. Total Quality Management is run company-wide, with construction issues fed back through the organisation as documented learning rather than closed out at the job.
